What is the DeLLphi-315 Clinical Trial?

DeLLphi-315 is a Phase 3 clinical trial studying tarlatamab, an investigational treatment, in extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC). The study is comparing tarlatamab given as an injection under the skin with tarlatamab given through a vein to learn how safe and effective each method is. Study participants will be assigned to receive tarlatamab either under the skin (SC) or through a vein (IV).

What will be asked of you if you take part in this clinical trial?

Step 1: Screening

At your first visit(s), you will:

  • Meet the clinical trial doctor and team at the location of the trial. This may be different from where you have received treatment in the past.
  • Review and sign an informed consent to join DeLLphi-315.
  • Complete a general health assessment, including a physical exam, medical history, blood tests, and imaging.
  • Tumor sample is mandatory at screening. If the archival tumor biopsy is not sufficient, a new biopsy should be obtained during screening

*This may not be needed in all cases. Your doctor will let you know if this is not needed.

If you meet the requirements and decide to join this clinical trial, you will move on to Step 2.

Step 2: Treatment

Approximately 400 participants will be randomly assigned to receive tarlatamab SC (Investigation drug) or tarlatamab IV (Control group).

The tarlatamab SC group:

  • Will receive 15 mg target dose every two weeks in a 28-day cycle.

The tarlatamab IV group:

  • Will receive 10mg target dose every two weeks in a 28-day cycle.
  • Tumor sample is mandatory. If the archival biopsy is insufficient, a new biopsy should be obtained.

You will continue receiving study treatment based on an ongoing evaluation of your overall health and response to the study treatment. This decision will be guided by the results of your blood tests, any side effects you may experience, and the findings from your imaging assessments. Your study doctor will review this information regularly to determine whether it is appropriate and safe for you to remain on study treatment and to ensure that the treatment continues to provide potential benefit.

Step 3: End of treatment

You will continue to receive treatment in this clinical trial based on the results of your bloodwork and imaging. You will continue receiving treatment based on the results of your blood tests, side effects you may experience, and imaging. The treatment you receive in this clinical trial may end if:

  1. Your cancer gets worse.
  2. You experience serious side-effects from treatment.
  3. You decide to stop the trial at any time.

The Investigator site staff will schedule a follow-up visit with you approximately 9 weeks after your last trial treatment.

Step 4: Long term follow-up (up to 3 years)

The Investigator site staff may follow-up with you by phone or ask you to visit the clinic approximately once every 12 weeks.
